Hi all!
I chose this theme because I thought it was a unique design. I was originally going to choose something vibrant but realized that this blog is for class and it should be professional. I then decided that simple was boring since this is a blog after all. Finally I stumbled on the water mark themes which I felt was a good mix. Typically I wouldn't choose this color scheme but with the watermark map on the top, the color reminded me of writing in an old notebook.
That is very true, I love this template it gives it the feeling of old rustic. Very easy on the eyes. Nice choice!
ReplyDeleteHey, your blog reminds me of an old note book too. Kind of cool actually. And, it is also very easy on the eyes. I just learned from another one of our classmates (majoring in web development), that darker is easier on the eyes. So anyway, good job at picking a nice color. Perhaps if I may make a suggestion, since your background does look like an old note book, maybe try to find a type writer font. My barbershop's theme is "old" and for all my marketing material I use type writer font :)

ReplyDeleteI like the simple vibe you chose for your blog. You mentioned you did not like the colors - you can change them! I do like the old rustic journal feel though.
It reminds me of the game the Oregon Trail that I played in school. Very unique and different! Good Job and reasoning!
